Preston's Sustainable Community Strategy

Preston's Sustainable Community Strategy is a key document for Preston Strategic Partnership, including its voluntary and community sector partners. It links with the Lancashire Community Strategy (Ambition Lancashire) and is currently being updated.

The aims of the Sustainable Community Strategy relate to key services for the community in Preston and better delivery of these through partnership working.

The themes of the Sustainable Community Strategy are:

• Environment
• Health and well-being
• Housing
• Older People
• People and Communities
• Prosperity

The voluntary and community sector is involved in the design and delivery of services in all the themes, through Preston Community Network representation on all the 'thematic working groups'
