What is a Children's Trust?

Preston's Children's Trust brings together all services for children and young people across the city.  It was established on 1 April 2008.

What is the Network's role in the Children's Trust?

Preston Community Network organises and co-ordinates VCFS representation on Preston's Children's Trust (see Network Reps page for details of current representation)  To ensure the widest possible engagement with the Children's Trust, we have established the Preston Children's Trust VCFS Forum as a mechanism for accountability, information-sharing and a chance for VCFS groups to inform and influence its priorities and activities.  In addition to the regular meetings, the Forum holds conferences and events on topical issues relating to children and young people and families.
